🛠️ Quick Help: Up and running in seconds
Connecting your WordPress site to Resend is incredibly easy:
- Click on the + icon in your editor and type “Brutal”, then click on Browse All. Alternatively, click the + icon on the top left corner of the editor screen, scroll down to the Brutal Blocks section (or type “brutal” in the search field), and drop the “Brutal Newsletter (PRO)” block onto your layout.
- Select your preferred layout in the right sidebar (Inline or Card) and modify your placeholder text.
- Configure Resend: Click the “Configure API Resend” button. A secure Modal will open. Paste your Resend API key here (it works with both their free and paid tiers) to securely save it to your database.
- Toggle the GDPR Compliance on if you have European visitors.
- Use the custom icon-picker to add an optimized SVG to your submit button (and try the Fill toggle!).
- Save your page. The block will now securely capture emails and send them directly to your Resend account.
